1. About these terms

Fragrant Life LLC operates fragrantlifellc.com. In these terms, “Fragrant Life,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Fragrant Life LLC. “You” refers to a person using our website or placing an order through it.

These terms apply to the use of our website and orders placed through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies applicable to your purchase. Purchases made through another marketplace, including Whatnot, are also subject to that marketplace’s rules and the terms presented there.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law.

2. Using the store

Use our website lawfully and provide accurate order, contact, billing, and delivery information. You must be legally able to enter into the transaction or have the authorization of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law. Use only payment methods you are authorized to use.

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent orders, or infringe the rights of others. If you create an account, protect your login details and contact us if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.

3. Products, authenticity, and presentation

Fragrant Life is an independent fragrance retailer. We source the fragrances we sell through established wholesale, distributor, brand, and supplier relationships and sell them as authentic products. We are not an authorized retailer for every brand we carry unless specifically stated.

Read the individual listing for the product’s size, concentration, included items, and presentation. A retail bottle, tester, mini, dabber, travel spray, discovery set, or gift set may have different packaging or contents. Testers may come in plain or tester-marked boxes or without decorative retail packaging. Caps and boxes are included only as described in the listing.

Images help identify the product, but screens can display colors differently. Where a listing uses a fragrance-inspired illustration or styled image, review the listing’s description and product photos for the item and presentation being sold. Fragrance preferences and perceived wear, longevity, and projection vary by person and conditions.

4. Prices, payment, and availability

Review the items, quantities, product prices, shipping charges, taxes, discounts, and total displayed at checkout before completing your purchase. Unless another currency is expressly displayed, prices are in U.S. dollars. Promotions apply only under the terms shown with the offer; website and marketplace prices may differ.

Prices and availability may change for future orders. A later price change does not authorize us to increase an amount you have already agreed to pay. Adding an item to a cart does not reserve it.

If we identify an availability issue, a material listing or pricing error, a payment problem, or suspected fraud affecting your order, we will contact you where appropriate. We will not charge a higher corrected price without your agreement. If an order is canceled and payment has been collected, the canceled amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

5. Processing, shipping, and order changes

Shipping destinations, charges, processing times, tracking, and delivery assistance are described in our Shipping Policy. Alcohol-based fragrance requires special handling and ships by ground service. Processing time and a carrier’s estimated delivery time are different; a delivery estimate is not a guaranteed arrival date unless expressly stated.

Check your address carefully. Contact us promptly if you need help correcting an order or address. Changes may not be possible once the order has been processed or shipped. If your package is delayed, missing, or marked delivered but cannot be located, contact us so we can help investigate with the carrier.

6. Returns, refunds, and damaged or incorrect items

Our Returns & Refunds Policy governs return eligibility, reporting problems, approved return labels, inspection, and refunds. Please read it before ordering.

Under the current policy, eligible routine returns must be requested within three days of delivery, and the fragrance must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with original manufacturer seals and wrapping intact. We do not accept routine returns of fragrances that have been opened, unsealed, sprayed, used, or altered, or returns based on scent preference or perceived performance.

Report damage, leaking, or incorrect items within three days of delivery. The unopened-product restriction does not prevent you from reporting damage or a defect discovered when opening your order. Contact us as soon as you discover a defect that becomes apparent later. Fragrant Life provides a prepaid shipping label for approved returns. Do not send damaged or leaking fragrance back without instructions.

The current policy provides for inspection within three days of receiving a return. Approved refunds go to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are not refundable for routine unopened returns; that exclusion does not apply to damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to post a credit.

These summaries do not reduce the protections provided by the full policy or applicable law.

7. The Blessing Shelf

The Blessing Shelf connects fragrance with ministry support. A Blessing Shelf fragrance purchase and a gift of funds to stock the shelf serve different purposes.

For purchases specifically identified as Blessing Shelf items, 100% of the fragrance sale price goes to the featured ministry, as described on the Blessing Shelf information page. This promise concerns the fragrance sale price; taxes and shipping charges are separately identified charges.

Funds given through Donate Dollars are pooled to purchase shelf fragrance, support the shipping of donated fragrance, and support shelf operations as described on that page. Giving funds to stock the shelf does not mean that the same payment is immediately transferred directly to a ministry. The fragrance later sold from the shelf creates the ministry support described above.

If you are purchasing from the shelf because you want to support a particular ministry, review the featured ministry information before ordering. The Impact Ledger records the program’s ministry stories and reported impact.

We do not represent that fragrance purchases or support payments made to Fragrant Life qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions. Consult your tax adviser if tax treatment matters to your decision.

8. Subscriptions and recurring support

Where a subscription or recurring support option is offered, review the amount, frequency, and any stated benefits before completing checkout. A recurring payment requires your selection and authorization of the recurring option; a one-time purchase or gift does not itself authorize future recurring charges.

For an authorized recurring option, charges follow the amount and schedule presented for that option until it is canceled or otherwise ends under the selected plan. Recurring support is a payment toward the Blessing Shelf purposes described above; it is not a recurring delivery of fragrance unless the offer specifically includes deliveries.

Questions about an existing charge, an item already shipped, or a refund are handled under the applicable offer, our policies, and applicable law. These terms do not add a minimum subscription commitment or a cancellation fee.

9. Privacy and communications

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared, including in connection with Shopify and our service providers. Your Privacy Choices page explains applicable opt-out choices.

We may contact you about your order, payment, delivery, subscription, or support request. Marketing email and SMS choices are separate from transactional communications. These terms do not automatically enroll you in marketing messages; use the unsubscribe instructions provided with marketing messages to withdraw from them.

10. Website content and other services

Our logos, original writing, photographs, and other website content belong to Fragrant Life or their respective owners. You may browse the site and share links to our public pages. Commercial reproduction or use of protected content requires permission from the relevant rights holder. Brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Links to ministries, marketplaces, payment providers, or other third parties may take you to services governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not make Fragrant Life the operator of that service. Our use of Shopify to host the store does not make Shopify the seller of Fragrant Life’s products.

11. Applicable policies and changes

Read these terms together with the product listing, offer terms, and linked shipping, return, privacy, and subscription policies. If there is a difference concerning a specific issue, the policy or offer specifically addressing that issue applies, subject to applicable law. A specific customer protection or promise is not removed by a more general statement in these terms.

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with its effective date. Updates apply prospectively and do not retroactively reduce rights or change an agreed price or other material terms of an existing order. Where notice or consent is required by applicable law for a material change, we will follow that requirement.
